VE Day anniversary

2020 marked the 75 year anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day. Although the country was in lockdown due to Covid-19, there was still an air of celebration as neighbours gathered for socially distant street parties.

This was a self-initiated image I created to mark the occasion, inspired by swing dancing, vintage fashion, and the street parties of 8th May, 1945.
